MAP Primer Pen - a felt tip pen that allows safe and easy application of MAP primer (Methacrylic Acid). Use to prepare oily/moist nails before application of Gel. **Primer is essential to help prevent lifting only on clients with lifting problems and/or moist/oily nails. Use to remove oil dehydrate and etch the nail surface to ensure good adhesion.
Apply only to the natural nail very carefully do not touch the skin Allow to dry before applying gel.
*not necessary or reccommended on clients with dry brittle nails (gel will usually bond well to dry nails) - Use only on clients with extra moisture in their nails to help remove oils and etch the surface and to create a better bond. For clients with severe lifting you may apply twice.
